M&AOSB Donates Medical Supplies to Nga Yoke Kaung Hospital

The global pandemic has brought many hardships around the low income, under-resourced communities across Myanmar. With an offshore supply base in Nga Yoke Kaung Town, Pathein District in the Ayeyarwady Region, M&AOSB has increased its efforts in the fight against COVID-19 in the project area through medical supplies and funding.

In July 2021, M&AOSB donated MMK 1,983,500 worth of medical supplies to Nga Yoke Kaung Hospital in support of the local response to COVID-19 crisis. The donation included 2 units of oxygen concentrators, 1,000 pairs of examination and surgical gloves, 2,500 surgical masks, 150 face shields, and 30 bottles of Dettol antiseptic disinfectant liquid. The handover ceremony was held at the General Administration Department Office of Nga Yoke Kaung Town on 3 July 2021, where M&AOSB CSR Field Staff received the acknowledgment letters from the COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee and Nga Yoke Kaung Hospital.
